Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual international event known in France as “Octobre Rose”. The campaign aims to encourage early detection and support research in the fight against this disease. Aware of the importance of this cause, Montabert actively involves its employees in raising awareness.

To this end, Montabert organises various internal activities. Discussion workshops are organised to inform and exchange views on the subject. The company also encourages its employees to take part in collective projects such as sewing workshops to create beautiful bags as a symbol of support and solidarity. A special pink luncheon is also served to increase community involvement and awareness.

In order to further mobilise its employees, Montabert introduced an innovative sports challenge in 2023: employees’ hours of physical activity were converted into donations. This initiative not only strengthened team cohesion, but also contributed to a noble cause.

The result of this action is remarkable. In 2021, €3004 was donated to the Léon Bérard Centre, a cancer research center in Lyon. In 2023, thanks to the active participation of Montabert employees, €805 was also collected. This year, the sewing workshop made a significant contribution by creating 21 beautiful bags. These actions demonstrate the company’s commitment to the health of both its employees and the community.
